The aim of the prospective cohort study was to prospectively assess the satisfaction level of women with 29BRCA1 and 26BRCA2 who underwent RRSO (prophylactic salpingo-oophorectomy). The conclusions of the study suggest that the results suggest that satisfaction with RRSO is very high and independent of the characteristics of the participants in the intervention. Women at high risk of ovarian cancer are very satisfied with their choice of risk reduction strategy.
