I was born in Fiorentino, a Castello (municipality) of the Republic of San Marino, on 07.06.1960.
I am a Specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics with clinical and surgical experience spanning over three decades. My educational path began with a degree in Medicine and Surgery obtained with honors at the University of Bologna in 1986, followed by a Specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology obtained with top marks at the University of Florence in 1991.
My training was further enriched in 1998 with the achievement, again with top marks, of the European University Diploma in Operative Endoscopy in Gynecology at the University of Auvergne (Clermont-Ferrand).
During my working career, I held the role of Head of the Functional Module of Gynecological Endoscopy at the Institute for Social Security of the Republic of San Marino. In this position, I have performed numerous specialist interventions, including office and operative hysteroscopies, resectoscopies, diagnostic and operative laparoscopies, abdominal and vaginal surgery interventions, as well as, in the last two years after obtaining the appropriate Certification in Naples in 2023, robotic surgery interventions using the Da Vinci system.
My expertise in the endoscopic field has been certified since 2002 by accreditation as a second level SEGI endoscopic operator (SEGI register codes L2 106902 – I2 104902). Added to this is a consolidated experience in laparotomic surgery and gynecological laser treatments (since 1992 I have been performing outpatient treatments of laser vaporization and conization for all pathological indications of the female lower genital tract).
In the two-year period 2011-2013 he also provided my surgical collaboration at the Villa Serena Private Hospital in Forlì.
I was a pioneer in the use of laser technologies for the treatment of lower female genital tract diseases, developing one of the largest experiences in Italy in the use of the MonaLisa Touch system, and establishing myself over the last thirteen years as one of the most authoritative opinion leaders for this type of outpatient treatment.
During these years I have trained more than 430 doctors from all Italian regions and from many European and world geographical areas (Brazil, Portugal, Turkey, Latvia, Austria, Holland, Germany, Slovenia, Serbia, United Arab Emirates, Dubai) on the use of laser and electromagnetic chair.
